摘要

Water is a finite resource, not just in under-developed countries but in the US as well. Even 10 years ago, the focus of inherently dangerous and endemic water issues was relegated to the realm of under-developed nations. Too much emphasis has been placed on the known areas with poor water quality, such as India, Bangladesh, the African continent, the whole of China...without acknowledging our own problems. A lot has changed, with the recognition that (after years of trying to make this point) lack of potable water is now pressuring regulators, manufacturers and others to do more with less. Call it the Great Recession of Potable Water. That should get someone's attention!
