MOTORSPORT - MK 7 GTI AT GOODWOOD: Seven up for the Cup!

Making its public debut at Goodwood was a race-prepared version of the Mk 7 Golf GTI. THE VOLKSWAGEN display at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (July 11-12) saw the launch of the latest VWR RacingLine Motorsport and Performance parts range for the recently released Mk 7 Golf GTI. It is the result of six months of hard work behind the scenes by the Volkswagen Racing UK team, both in Germany and here in the UK, in response to the interest expressed by several teams and drivers in developing the Mk 7 Golf GTI for the APR Volkswagen Racing Cup. With customers worldwide also wanting to uprate their new Mk 7 Golfs for track work, a rapid development process was critical for Volkswagen Racing UK to speedily convert this interest into cars on the grid.
