How grape stalk separators improve quality of mechanical harvesting.

Information is included on the latest equipment developed for optimal grape harvesting and operator comfort. It is stated that in Italy, 5 types of equipment with horizontal shakers are available on the market for grape harvesting. Illustrations are provided of grape and stalk separation equipment, and shakers produced by Braud, Gregoire, Pellenc and Ero. Positioning and distances between elements of shakers are considered. Parameters of shaking and beating equipment influencing the quality of operation, such as the speed of movement of equipment are also considered.
