Dapeng LNG expects Suppliers of higher quality: an interview with major end user in China LNG industry

Despite the world economic situation, China has planned and invested in a number of LNG projects during the past few years. These projects are expected to boost China's LNG output in a few years time, and as a result the demand for valve products keeps growing in this booming market which brings unique opportunities for the suppliers from all over the world. Valve World recently visited Guangdong Dapeng LNG Company Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as GDLNG), which has been operating China's first pilot project for LNG importation. We talk with Mr. Yao Jiping, Vice President-Operations, and Mr. Ling Yun, procurement engineer, on their views about valve application in the China LNG industry, and their expectation of the valve suppliers.
