Temsa contemplates access route into India

Turkish bus major, Temsa Global of Istanbul, is planning to enter the Indian bus market. At Busworld India in Mumbai during January - where it displayed the Safari HD coach built at Temsa's new plant in Cairo, Egypt - the company announced that it was conducting a feasibility study to understand better the Indian market and how best to enter the market. Omer Sozutek, International Relations and Business Development Director of Temsa Global, said, "We are looking at the Indian market for the long term. We are exploring the possibility of entering the Indian bus market either on our own or through a strong local partner. We hope to be in India by 2010".
