Daimler quick to resurrect business in Iran with new Letters of Intent agreements with two Iranian partners - one old, one new

Germany/Iran/UAE - Daimler Trucks, a business division of Daimler AG of Stuttgart, Germany has signed letters of intent with its former local cooperation partner, Iran Khodro Diesel (IKD) of Tehran, Iran and with the Mayan Mammut Group (part of the Mammut Group, which has its headquarters in Dubai, UAE and is one of the Middle East's largest truck body builders and distributors) to re-enter the Iranian market. With IKD, the agreement concerns its Mercedes-Benz brand, whereas with Mayan, it is focused on the Fuso brand.
