Performance/Strategy: Irizar Group on target to achieve record year

Spain - The Irizar Group is forecasting further growth of some 10 to 15% in 2013 despite hitting a record turnover of ?504m in 2012. The group says that it is increasing sales in a number of markets; in Brazil and Mexico, for instance, sales are up 10% and it has started sales in a number of new markets, the most recent being sales of 15 coaches to Turkey on Scania chassis. It also plans to break into the Russian market through its primary chassis partner, Scania.
