Another view: Judge orders tree topping

In Seattle, most tree services, city personnel and even a large number of the public have now heard that tree topping is NOT a form of pruning. It was once the case that each and every day a tree service owner would try to talk many, and perhaps evenmost, potential customers out of topping, and thereby risk losing the job altogether. Life was hard. But they did it anyway because it was the right thing to do. True professionals in any field are expected to do what is ethical, not just what they are asked to do. If they do otherwise, then they are simply "labor," - the same as the difference between a doctor prescribing medicine and a drug dealer supplying a demand. Note: They don't call me queen of the blunt analogy for nothing.
