RDH Tire and Retread Company of Cleveland, NC, not only retread and repair the largest tires in the world, they are recycling the rubber from the tires and plans are in the works to recycle the complete tires. RDH was established in 1987 by Brad Ragan, Jr., Don Dobson, and Homer Huskins. Mr. Dobson passed away a few years later and his family's interest in the company was purchased by Mr. Ragan and Mr. Huskins. The retread operation is located on a 200-acre farm near Cleveland, NC. The recycling operation is located 20 minutes away and plans are to move it next to the retread plant.
