Sir David Attenborough's numerous documentaries have stirred the desire of many to visit and observe animals in their natural habitat. Africa is the world's undisputed "Mecca" when it comes to wildlife viewing. So, when my wife Alex urged me to embarkon a trip across the Indian Ocean, I simply couldn't pass up the opportunity to target Africa's trophy freshwater fish, the tiger fish. "Tiger fish", I hear you ask? "Africa doesn't have tigers!" They sure do, and it comes in the shape of a solidly built fighting, freshwater fish with the most fearsome sharp teeth you are likely to encounter. The best way to describe a tiger fish's attitude is ANGRY.
