THE GREENER ROAD: A NEW STANDARD IN TOLLWAY PERFORMANCE

From all-electronic tolling to truck parking electrification, US toll agencies are proactively implementing a host of green practices in the name of social responsibility. More toll agencies whose sole purpose is to cater to vehicles - one of the biggest contributors to greenhouse gases in the USA - are realizing they can affect positive change by implementing sustainable practices. In fact, according to Patrick D. Jones, executive director and CEO of the IBTTA, sustainability is emerging as a new standard of tollway performance.
