PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block for forming a wide greening road surface, which is hardly damaged and destroyed even when a truck as a heavy vehicle passes or is parked on the block. PSOLUTION: In this block for forming the greening road surface, two or more concrete blocks 10, and one or more connecting rods 20 for connecting the connecting blocks 10 together while forming a gap for embedding soil for growing plants are provided; the four concrete blocks 10 are juxtaposed in a short-side direction; and the connecting rods 20 are connected to all the four concrete blocks 10, respectively.
