Truckers tour of East Sussex

Snow put a stop to last year's Truckers Tractor Tour but for 2009 the Easter Sunday road run, which has become a custom in East Sussex, brought out nearly 100 tractors. It raises money for St Michael's Hospice, Hastings, for which the local Step Back in Time working event (which involves many of the same people and was started by Dave Selmes) has raised over ￡100,000. The run started from the former Burgess Ashes Yard at Bodiam (now owned by Jonathan Day) and was led by Brian and Liz Cutting with their 1960 Fordson Super Major.
