Meanwhile,in February 2001,Ticor Ltd.shareholders approved a scheme to pay US 65 million for a 40% ownership stake in and operating responsibility for the Iscor Heavy Minerals (MM) project plus a further US 3 million for Iscor's other mineral sands assets.The scheme also provided Ticor Ltd.with an option to increase its stake in the project to 80%,once the smelter was fully up and running.
