PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing TiC alloy by liquid-phase reaction sintering is provided to improve the mechanical property and sintering density through direct reaction of Ti powder with Graphite powder during sintering.;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing TiC alloy by liquid-phase reaction sintering comprises the steps of: mixing Ti powder and Graphite powder at the molar ratio of 1:1, mixing metal powder in the mixed Ti and Graphite powder(P10), mixing and shattering the compound powder and solvent in a ball mill tank(P20), heating the compound powder to evaporate the solvent and shattering it(P30), mixing a binder into the powder and putting it in the mold of a press-molding machine to form a powder molded body(P40), sintering the powder molded body in a vacuum sintering furnace into TiC(P50), annealing the sintered specimen in a vacuum and processing the specimen according to product specification(P60), and hardening the processed specimen(P70).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
