Minimal solution of a Riccati type differential equation

We consider a Riccati type differential equation which appears in theoscillation theory of half-linear differential equations. We establish the existence of theso-called minimal solution of this equation and we investigate basic properties of thissolution. In particular, we prove a Sturmian type theorem for minimal solutions of apair of considered equations
