Numark and Nucare call off merger talks

NUMARK Plc and Nucare Plc have called off tals on a proposed merger between the two independent pharmacy groups,saying that they were unable to agrce on valuations of the two companies.Merger talks started in May last year,at the same time as Numark started its conversion into an unlisted public company(p soutour,18 May 2002,p593).
