The Pharmacy Practice Research Trust,an independent research charity established by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in 1999,has announced changes to its board,They include the appointment of Marshall Davies,a past president of the Society and a former director of Boots The Chemists,to succeed Sir Graham Hart as chairman.Mr Davies said:"The Pharmacy Practice Research Trust marks the end of an era as Sir Graham vacates his role as chairman.The trust owes him an enormous debt of gratitude for his hard work and guidance since its inception in 1999." The trust had evolved and developed into an increasingly effective and robust organisation under Sir Graham's direction."It will be taking his legacy forward with energy over the coming years in the exciting and innovative programme of work already set in motion.His unique contribution will be greatly missed."
