Jim Smith to move into academia

Jim Smith has announced that he is retiring from the post of Chief Pharmaceutical Officer for England.After more than four years in the role he will leave the Department of Health at the end of August and take up an appointment as professor of pharmacy practice and policy at the University of Sunderland.
