Welsh children's NSF sets training standards

Minimum training standards for pharmacy curriculums have been specified in the Welsh National Service Framework for Children,Young People and Maternity Services,published last week.The NSF says that undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy curriculums must include training in the principles of prescribing and use of medicines for children.It adds that similar training provisions should be in place for other health care professions,as prescribing rights are extended.
