Discussion at an open forum on assisted suicide of terminally ill patients made it clear that, al-though drugs were the most commonly used agents in assisted suicide, the pharmacist's role had not been defined, or even considered in many instances. The situation was complicated definitions for euthanasia, assisted suicide, suicide and cessation of life support.
