There are disclosed specialized unit sets assisting the composition, combinations and methods required for the preparation and production of extemporaneous formulations prepared in-situ by a pharmacist for individual therapies in an accurate, safe, functional and reliable mode. The invention keeps records and provides, inter alia, necessary information, pre-measured components (pharmaceutical drastic substances, excipients etc), standardized templates, detailed preparation methodology, mixing elements, protection and safety elements, and uniform dispersion of the drastic substances as well. All necessary components are directly available to the pharmacist who does not refer to different suppliers, minimizes his stocks in pharmaceutical substances and means and, thereby, reduces the cost of the formulation which is safe and efficient; furthermore, the invention offers clean working environment, protection from exposure to hazardous substances and potential access of the patients to a greater number of pharmacies.
