This year we are going to adopt a More Practical focus to our conference

The 2009 Conference is looming and the committee responsible for organizing this event has sprung into action. Our Senior Vice President, Peter Rooney, has secured us some interesting papers for this year's programme including particularly valued contributions from Refractory users. We have decided to stay with the same venue and once again to run the Conference on a Wednesday with a Training Programme following on the Thursday. We are conscious that in the current difficult trading environment companies may consider Conference attendance as a luxury. However, we have pegged our already very reasonable prices and we would suggest that our Conference represents extremely good value for money. Not only will delegates have the opportunity to hear some interesting and informative papers but this event is also an excellent forum for people within the industry to meet. We are hoping that companies will seriously consider once again supporting the Conference, the Conference Dinner and the Training Day.
