Exports, Imports of Steel Pipes Surge in January-July

Both exports and imports of steel pipes in the January-July period were found to have increased. According to data from the Korea Iron & Steel Association (KOSA), aggregate exports of domestic steel pipes from January through July surged 21 percent to 609,300 tons compared with the same period last year, amounting to 729,200 U.S. dollars, a soar of 14.9 percent from a year ago.
