TCC Steel Installs Heat-treatment Facilities for Nickel-coating Line

In order to positively respond to demand for high-grade nickel-coated steel sheets, TCC Steel is installing heat-treatment facilities and re-rolling facilities at its mill. The company is expecting it possible to turn out productsfrom the facilities in April when the related facility installation work will finish. Nickel-coated steel sheets, which are made of cold-rolled steel sheets or black plates with the both sides coated, are known to have outstanding properties in corrosion resistance and chemical resistance. Nickel-coated steel sheets are used not only for dry batteries due to their high discharge function of battery, but also for such sectors as inner shield of Braun tubes, automotive fuel pipes and exhaust pipes.
