POSCO Chairman Lee Ku-taek has recently urged all the executives and staff of the company to have consciousness of change and crisis, drawing interest from the related industry. He reportedly emphasized that most staff at the level of department managers in particular, who are actually leading POSCO, should foresee the future rather than the present, have interest in outside rather than inside and take a look at the whole rather than parts. As for leadership, he stressed that leaders should carefully listen to, explain, assist, decide evaluate and respond to the issues they are faced with.
