China exported 62.63 million tons of its steel products last year and Korea was found to have taken 24.79 million tons, about 20 percent of them, which were up 2.78 million tons from 2006. Thus, Korea was the largest importing country of Chinese steel products all over the world last year, and its purchase of Chinese steel products was about 13 times larger than those Japan bought.
