摘要

Communicating the right information to the right people at the right time can easily mean the difference between life and death in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Did you know that the longer an infant remains in the NICU, the more likely breakdowns in communication will lead to errors that could have serious implications for infant and family outcomes?1 Yet, these types of human factor errors are often preventable with implementation of good communication practices.
