Apply Grey Relational Analysis to Determine Key Factors that Influence Vietnamese Inflatio

Inflation of different levels has impacts on economy development in different extents. High level inflation can cause the reduction in all respects of the economy Vietnam has been facing inflation in recent years. The expected inflation rate of Vietnam is over 10% in 2008,, Although the inflation rate is not too much high, it has been affecting Vietnamese economy development as well as Vietnamese people's living standard. The inflation degree can be expressed by CPI. Causes of the inflation originate from inside or outside of Vietnam economy or both are non-answer questions. Determining exactly key factors that bring about inflation is very important, thence, pointing out the solution method. This investigation employed Grey Relational Analysis to objectively determine the most relational economic factors of Vietnamese CPI, Such analysis can offset the defects that subjectively determine the factors when searching for the methods to solve the inflation problem. The researching results presented in this work can supply Vietnam government with good reference for controlling the inflation degree.
