摘要

An S25-RNase gene in the pistil responsible for self-incompatibility within the apple (Malus domestica [M. pumila]) was cloned from a McIntosh cultivar. We developed an S25-allele-specific polymerase chain reaction and digestion (PCR-digestion) method using specific primers and the restriction enzyme BamHI. Further, we investigated the S-allele genotypes of 18 'McIntosh' progeny. The results are presented and discussed.
