摘要

Nathalie Pilard’s lucid and scholarly work, on the relatively neglected theme of the central role of intuition in Jung’s thought, comes as a welcome and commendable addition to a growing opus of Jungian studies. It takes a proper place alongside the work of notable scholars of Jung, including Sonu Shamdasani (2003), Paul Bishop, Robert Segal (Pilard’s doctoral supervisor), and of John Beebe (2004), on the topic of intuition as an aspect of Jung’s typology. Her work is also timely, particularly in relation to the recent radical revisioning of Jung’s thought and development following the publication of the Red Book.
