Blood Profile in Vencobb Broilers Influenced by Organic Selenium and Vitamin-E

A study was conducted, to find out of the TEC, TLC and DLC influenced by organic selenium and vitamin-E in commercial Vencobb broilers. There were significant interaction in between organic selenium and vitamin-E for all blood cell components. The study showed a highly significant increase in the TEC and TLC in organic selenium and vitamin-E supplemented treatments than control. As the organic selenium level increased in the diet heterophil and H/L ratio significantly decreased whereas monocyte and eosinophil count significantly increased.Monocyte count and eosinophil count were not significiantly influenced with rising vitamin-E in broilers feed.
