摘要

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) recommended in a October 6, 2010, policy statement published in the Federal Register that prescribers (such as nurse practitioners, [NPs] authorize their "agents" in writing to perform specific actions on the prescriber's behalf. Agents include staff members who are authorized to act on behalf of the practitioner. Here is an example of such an agreement, provided by the DEA.
