Utilization of Cotton Plant By Produce for Value-Added Products(CFC/ICAC 20)

In most countries of the world, cotton farming brings only a meager net profit to producers. High input costs, low productivity characteristic of rainfed farming and high incidence of pests and diseases are the main reasons for low farm income in India and other similar countries. It has been realized that the farmer's income can be augmented if by-products and wastes generated in cotton cultivation are put to effective utilization.
