摘要

Spring break has always been a great time for learning. Some past lessons: When your buddy asks if you need help in applying sunscreen to the places on your back you can't reach, the answer is always "no." Public nudity is never a good idea. Make sure the hotel room is always reserved with someone else's credit card. The lessons don't end with the award of a degree, however. This spring break proved no different at Metal Matters 2009, the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association's fourth annual leadership summit. Approximately 80 attendees had the opportunity to interact with their peers, learn about successful shop practices and leading industry economic indicators, and ask questions of manufacturing software and machine tool builders about the latest fabricating technologies.
