This 900 CD cabinet was made in a small workshopWith the front and rear frames as well as the drawers finished and stored outside the workshop (as described in Part 1 of this article), the next task was to make the four drawer support frames.Drawer Support (Ladder) Frames These frames have several functions. They support the Drawer Slides, they form the structure between the front and rear frames, they provide additional strength to the joints between the intermediate blocks and the rails in the front frame and they secure the inner assembly to the cabinet base and top. Their dimensions are shown in Fig.5.
