GLENORLEIGH Toystory Matsuko VG87 topped Bill and Jo Thompson's March sale this year, highlighting the quality and longevity of one of Australia's oldest cow families - the Marlenes. Twenty-five individuals from the Marlene cow family made up the majority of lots sold by the Thompsons at that sale in South Australia. Matsuko sold for $17,000 to local SA breeders Trevor and Kerry Henningsen,Teka Holsteins at Mingbool, near Mt Gambier.
