Chapter Two of the Guppy Tales

Faithful readers may recall that in a past issue of TEST, the Ancient Mechanical Engineer (AME) wrote of his experiences in the 1960s "Pregnant Guppy" Saturn aircarry program. He was a Kid Engineer, assigned to the program in spring 1963, and along with a crew of fellow Douglas engineers and technicians prepared and operated an instrumentation system to monitor transport of the Saturn S-IV rocketstages. This was reported inTEST'sAugust/September2006 issue, along with a promise that a continuation would follow. Below is that long-delayed continuation.
