Japan/Korea Unit Price Gap in Imported LNG Largely Narrows

According to the statistics of LNG imports by Japan, Korea, Taiwan and China during the first six months (January - June) of 2014, Japan's unit price of the imported LNG was US$859.59/tonne, while Korea's unit price was US$846.14/tonne, showing that Japan imported LNG US$13.45/tonne higher than Korea did during the period and that the gap in the unit price very much narrowed compared to the gap of US$80.07/tonne recorded during the same period of 2013.
