CHALCO Calls Off TOB Of SouthGobi Resources

Aluminium Corporation of China Limited (CHALCO) called off a takeover bid (TOB) of SouthGobi Resources Ltd., Canada. Accordingly, CHALCO cancelled the lock-up agreement concluded with Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd., Canada for the sales of shares in SouthGobi resources. Incidentally, the former name of Turquoise Hill Resources is Ivanhoe Mines Ltd., and the change of the company name took place on 8th of August, 2012.
