Furthermore on 3 December 2014, Glencore plc parted with coal assets in the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada. This was the sellout of a 75% interest in Donkin project to Kameron Collieries ULC, a subsidiary of Cline Group LLC, USA. Accordingly, Glencore withdrew from this project completely. Donkin project was supposed to exploit Donkin mining area, an unexplored underground mining area in Sydney Coalfield in the Province of Nova Scotia and export metallurgical and thermal coals produced at this mining area to the Asian region.
