The system has a commercial enterprise resource planning (ERP) system centrally holding project data, business process relevant data and range applications e.g. enterprise-internal purchase management. An integration system links the applications for planning and execution of projects and for supporting business processes in real time with the ERP system. A uniform surface is available for operation of the integration system in form of a portal. An authentication system assigns authorizations determined dependent on identification in connection with the integration system and the ERP system.
