W&H finds growth in Asia

Extrusion technology supplier Windmoller & Holscher (W&H)'s business in Asia is being driven by the markets of China, Malaysia and Thailand, said Michael Fischer, Managing Director, Asia Pacific. Speaking to PRA at the Tiprex show in Thailand he said 50% of the Asia Pacific business for the company comes from China, especially equipment for retrofitting, flexographic printing and barrier blown/cast film processing. "Customers are exchanging and improving parts and gauge controls to improve film and print quality. Plus, there is a trend for higher quality and higher performance lines," he explained.
