Foreign investments in China

摘要

Degussa has received approvals from the Chinese authorities to construct an integrated production facility for methyl methacrylate(MMA)and methacrylic specialities at its multi-user site at the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park. The EUR250 million worldscale plant is expected to start up in 2009 and will produce 100,000 tonnes/year of MMA as well as raw materials for downstream monomer and polymer specialities for applications in optoelectronics,automotive and construction as well as the adhesives and coatings industries.
