Raytheon pitches common LIAS controller

Raytheon is positioning its UAS ground station technology, currently being developed for the USAF's RQ-4B Global Hawk, as a potential common controller solution for all the service's future unmanned systems. It was announced on 22 August that the company had been awarded a $104 million contract to modernise the ground element of the RQ-4B as part of the air force's Ground Station Modernization Program (GSMP).
