Illinois up: Foresight is in coal at Hillsboro, ramps up Sugar Camp #2 schedule

Foresight Energy, Chris Cline's Illinois Basin juggernaut, has achieved two significant milestones and is moving quickly on its longwall development plans, poised to be at a 30 million-ton annual run rate by sometime in 2013 and to have that level of annual production in place by 2014. Foresight's Hillsboro Energy mine hit the coal seam with its slope late in October and is in coal. It is prepared to mine development coal with continuous miners. Foresight also decided to proceed with a second longwall at its Sugar Camp operation.
