Private equity firm The Gores Group plans to "reinvigorate" National Envelope (NEC) with new capital, management, and business directions in order to gain more share of the envelope market, an official said. "Our plan is to ... provide significant capital in order to grow the business," said the official, stopping short of providing an estimate. "The company has lost market share historically; we will do what we can to get it to greater profitability".
