Clarke's work on process development paid off in 2001,when it received the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality award for manufacturing.George Bordon,vice president of procurement and supply management,says,"Like our other co~mpany processes,our team was very heavily involved in the application and site visit activities.We examined the procurement and supply management process against the full Baldridge criteria,identified strengths and opportunities and set but to lose any gaps we found."
