The IPMI Awards and Grants Committee, chaired by Richard C. Kaltenbach, has announced the winners of the 2001 IPMI Awards. The selections were made after evaluating the nominations of highly qualified candidates from around the world. These awards will be presented during the IPMI's 25th International Precious Metals Conference in Tucson, AZ June 9-12, 2001.The IPMI Junichiro Tanaka Distinguished Achievement Award, sponsored by Tanaka Kikinzoku Kogyo K. K., recognizes an individual for his or her significant contribution on the advancement of the precious metals industry, whether technical, economic or managerial. This year, IPMI's Junichiro Tanaka Distinguished Achievement Award will be presented to Mr. Sebastian Paul Musco in recognition of his significant contributions to the precious metals industry.
