A message from IPMI President Dr. Martin T. Durney

Before offering a few comments concerning my hopes for the coming year, I would like to thank those individuals responsible for what, I think we can all agree, was a successful 25~(th) Conference. To Mr. Kevin Donegan, General Chairman, and to our Technical Co-Chairs, Miss Vanessa Motto and Dr. Bill Tamblyn, your hard work, dedication and commitment to IPMI allowed the rest of us to experience an interesting and technically stimulating event. I would also like to thank our Executive Director, Dr. Larry Manziek and Mrs. Sandra Arrants for attending to every detail to ensure a hassle-free experience. Lastly, I would like to recognize our Past President, Mr. Jeffrey Christian, for his leadership and commitment to IPMI. By any measure, IPMI enjoyed a very successful year under Jeff's Presidency.Looking forward, as I highlighted in my comments during the Conference, in historical terms, our organization is in a strong financial position with stable membership. Our cash reserve is now sufficient to protect us against short term setbacks, as most of you may recall this was not always the case.
